How to Play Originle

Originle is a daily guess-the-country game. Each UTC day introduces one original fictional guest. Your job is to name their country before you run out of three guesses.

Three steps

1. Read the guest card. Note lifestyle details, climate clues, and soft distractor chips — none of them name the country outright.
2. Guess a country. Type to search the country list and submit. Exact matches or suggestions both work.
3. Read the feedback. Green = correct country. Yellow = same continent. Gray = miss. Share your emoji result when you finish.

Daily reset

The puzzle uses the UTC calendar date. Progress for that day is stored in your browser so you can refresh without losing guesses. Streaks count consecutive daily wins only.

Finished today’s guest? Unlimited deals random guests for practice. The Archive lists soft clues for recent UTC days without spoiling answers.
